What is a community Group?

A Community Group is a great environment to find and grow life-giving friendships where you are encouraged and challenged in the important areas of your life. The purpose of Community Groups is to create a life-giving environment where people experience spiritual growth and authentic community.

• Spiritual Growth is cultivating life-giving relationships with God and with others.
• Community is a place to receive and provide accountability, belonging and care.

Most Community Groups range in size from 5-16 people and meet in homes throughout the Austin area. Groups are organized around location, life stage, or special interest.

• Relationships - Groups form personal friendships
• Authenticity - Group members are open and honest
• Confidentiality - Members can share their struggles without fear
• Participation - People in the group make each other a priority
• Multiplication - Groups foster new life in the hearts of group members and in our city as new groups are formed
• Scripture - Every group is centered on how God’s truth can transform our lives
